
Prof. Dr. Sukit Limpijumnong, President of The Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST), Ministry of Education, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Rawin Raviwongse, President of the National Science Museum Thailand (NSM) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation which sets out the basis for further cooperation between the two institutions on raising awareness of science for sustainable development on Wednesday, 30 January 2019 at the National Science Museum, Pathum Thani Province.

In addition, the NSM also signed MOCs with other related partners: Thai Island and Sea Natural History Museum, Defence Technology Institute, Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under the Royal Patronage, and the Zoological Park Organization under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King. In attendance were also representatives from UNESCO as the purpose of the collaboration matches with the United Nations’ role to promote the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including Item 17 “Partnerships for the Goals”, the collaboration of all sectors.
