The Signing Ceremony for the Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) of Thai KOSEN Establishment and KOSEN KMITL Establishment has been held by IPST, OBEC, KMITL and KMUTT on 14 December 2018, 17.00 – 20.00 hrs., Kamolthip Ballroom 3, The Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok.
Mr. Teerakiat Jareonsettasin, MD, Minister of Education, Dr. Kobsak Pootrakool, Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, Prof. Dr. Isao Taniguchi, President of KOSEN Japan, Prof. Dr. Sukit Limpijumnong, President of The Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST), Dr. Amporn Pinasa, Assistant Secretary-General, OBEC, Prof. Dr. Suchatchavee Suwansawas, Rector of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Assoc. Prof. Sakarindr Bhumiratana, President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) were in attendance.
This project aims to establish Thai-KOSEN Institutes to produce more skilled engineers that meet the requirement of industries. The first Thai-KOSEN Institute will be at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang or KOSEN KMITL in 2019, and the second one will be at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi or KOSEN KMUTT in 2020.
