ศธ. ร่วมกับมูลนิธิ สอวน. จัดงานการสัมมนานานาชาติว่าด้วยการเรียนการสอนคณิตศาสตร์และวิทยาศาสตร์ เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองในวาระครบรอบ 100 ปี วันประสูติสมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ – สถาบันส่งเสริมการสอนวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี (สสวท.)

[Scroll down for English] วันที่ 28 เมษายน 2566 เวลา 9.30 น. ณ ห้องราชวัลลภ ชั้น 2 อาคารราชวัลลภ กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ คุณหญิงกัลยา โสภณพนิช รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ เป็นประธานพิธีแถลงข่าวการจัดงานการสัมมนานานาชาติว่าด้วยการเรียนการสอนคณิตศาสตร์และวิทยาศาสตร์ เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองในวาระครบรอบ 100 ปี วันประสูติสมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ เปิดเผยว่าตามที่องค์การการศึกษาวิทยาศาสตร์และวัฒนธรรมแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNESCO) ได้ประกาศให้สมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ เป็นบุคคลสำคัญของโลก ด้านการศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ และวัฒนธรรม รัฐบาลจึงเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานเฉลิมฉลองวาระครบรอบ 100 ปี วันประสูติสมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ ซึ่งมูลนิธิ สอวน. กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ โดย สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน และ สถาบันส่งเสริมการสอนวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี (สสวท.) ได้ร่วมกันจัดการสัมมนานานาชาติขึ้น ภายใต้หัวข้อ International Conference on Mathematics and Science Education in the Post COVID-19 Era: Global Issues Awareness ระหว่างวันที่ 30 ตุลาคม – 1 พฤศจิกายน 2566 ณ ศูนย์ประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ กรุงเทพฯ

วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อร่วมกันหาหนทางก้าวผ่านผลกระทบจากการระบาดของโรค COVID -19 ซึ่งมีส่วนสร้างความถดถอยต่อคุณภาพการศึกษาของเยาวชนทั่วโลก ค้นหาอุปสรรคและแนวทางแก้ไขร่วมกันเพื่อพัฒนาคนและคุณภาพการศึกษาขับเคลื่อนอนาคตโลก ซึ่งได้รับพระกรุณาจากสมเด็จพระกนิษฐาธิราชเจ้า กรมสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดา สยามบรมราชกุมารี เสด็จราชดำเนินเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดการประชุม พร้อมทั้งทรงปาฐกถาพิเศษอีกด้วย โดยจัดขึ้นในรูปแบบ on site คาดว่ามีผู้ร่วมงาน 500 คน

การสัมมนานานาชาติครั้งนี้ เป็นเวทีระดมความคิดของนักการศึกษา นักวิจัย นักวิทยาศาสตร์ชั้นนำที่มีต่อผลกระทบภายหลังการระบาดของโรค COVID -19 ใน 3 ประเด็นคือ Talented Students ปัญหาของกลุ่มนักเรียนที่มีความสามารถพิเศษทางวิทยาศาสตร์และคณิตศาสตร์ ที่ได้รับผลกระทบ แนวทางการแก้ปัญหาและส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้อย่างเต็มศักยภาพ Inclusive Education ปัญหาความเหลื่อมล้ำที่ทำให้การกระจายตัวของการศึกษาไม่ทั่วถึง และ Digital Transformation ซึ่งสื่อการเรียนรู้ดิจิทัลที่ช่วยบรรเทาปัญหาในระหว่างและหลังการระบาดของโรค

พร้อมกันนี้ยังเป็นเวทีบรรยายทางวิชาการและงานวิจัย โดยนักวิชาการชั้นนำและนักวิทยาศาสตร์ระดับโลก รับฟังมุมมองอันแหลมคมจากนักการศึกษาที่มีชื่อเสียงในเรื่องเกี่ยวกับนักเรียนผู้มีความสามารถพิเศษด้านคณิตศาสตร์ วิทยาศาสตร์ การเปลี่ยนผ่านระบบการศึกษาเข้าสู่ยุคดิจิทัล นิทรรศการเทิดพระเกียรติและการแสดงผลงานของบุคลากรทางการศึกษาอีกหลากหลาย

พิธีแถลงข่าวครั้งนี้ร่วมด้วย รศ.พินิติ รตะนานุกูล เลขาธิการมูลนิธิส่งเสริมโอลิมปิกวิชาการ และพัฒนามาตรฐานวิทยาศาสตร์ศึกษา ในพระอุปถัมภ์สมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ (สอวน.) นายยศพล เวณุโกเศศ รองปลัดกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ นายพัฒนะ พัฒนทวีดล รองเลขาธิการคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน และ รศ.ธีระเดช เจียรสุขสกุล ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันส่งเสริมการสอนวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี (สสวท.) เข้าร่วมในการแถลงข่าวโดยพร้อมเพรียง

MOE and POSN to hold the International Conference on Mathematics and Science Education for the celebration of the 100^th anniversary of the birth of Her Royal Highness Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra

On 28 April 2023 at 09:30 hrs. at the Ratchawanlop Conference Room, 2^nd floor, Ratchawanlop Building, Ministry of Education, Dr. Khunying Kalaya Sophonpanich, Deputy Minister of Education, presided over the press conference on the organization of the International Conference on Mathematics and Science Education in celebration of the 100^th anniversary of the birth of Her Royal Highness Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra. It was revealed that the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has added Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra to its list of Eminent Personalities of the World for her contributions to education, science and culture; therefore, the Royal Thai Government is hosting the celebration of the 100^th anniversary of the birth of Her Royal Highness. The Promotion of Academic Olympiad and Development of Science Education Foundation under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra (POSN) and organizations under the Ministry of Education, namely the Office of the Permanent Secretary, the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), and The Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST), are jointly organizing the International Conference on Mathematics and Science Education in the Post COVID-19 Era: Global Issues Awareness during 30 October – 1 November 2023 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.

The international conference aims to seek ways to overcome the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has contributed to the decline of the quality of education worldwide, and also to explore the obstacles and solutions to develop people and the quality of education for the future. The conference receives gracious kindness of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to preside over the Opening Ceremony of the conference and deliver a keynote lecture. Being held on-site, the event is expected to facilitate 500 participants.

The event will serve as an international platform for educators, researchers, and leading scientists to share their views on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in three main issues: Talented Students: problems of students with talent in science and mathematics affected by the pandemic and ways to solving the problems and promoting their learning to their full potential; Inclusive Education: problems of inequality causing uneven distribution of education; and Digital Transformation: digital learning materials being used to alleviate learning difficulties during and after the pandemic.

The conference includes a variety of academic lectures by world-class scholars, educators and scientists on the talented students in mathematics and science and the transformation of the educational system into the digital age, an exhibition in honor of Her Royal Highness, and an exhibition of the work of educational personnel.

Prof. Dr. Piniti Ratananukul, Secretary General of POSN, Mr. Yossapol Venukoses, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Pattana Pattanathaweedol, Deputy Secretary General of OBEC, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thiradet Jiarasuksakun, President of IPST, were in attendance of this press conference.
