วันที่ 2 สิงหาคม 2567 เวลา 8.30 น. โรงแรมมิราเคิล แกรนด์ คอนเวนชั่น กรุงเทพฯ ห้อง Grand Ballroom A – B / นายสุรศักดิ์ พันธ์เจริญวรกุล รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ เป็นประธานเปิดงานครบรอบ 40 ปี ทุนพัฒนาและส่งเสริมผู้มีความสามารถพิเศษทางวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี (พสวท.) ภายใต้แนวคิด“การสร้างกำลังคน พสวท. เพื่อพัฒนาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีของประเทศไทยอย่างยั่งยืน” จากนั้นเป็นประธานในพิธีมอบเสื้อ DPST Hall of Fame มอบโล่รางวัลแก่ผู้ทำคุณประโยชน์แก่ สสวท.และทุนพสวท. รวมทั้งเยี่ยมชมนิทรรศการงานวิจัยของนักวิทยาศาสตร์ทุนพสวท. ทั้งนี้ งานดังกล่าวจัดระหว่างวันที่ 2 – 4 สิงหาคม 2567 ณ โรงแรมมิราเคิล แกรนด์ คอนเวนชั่น กรุงเทพฯ
เวลา 10.00 น. ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ศุภชัย ปทุมนากุล รองปลัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรมกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม ปาฐกถาพิเศษ หัวข้อ“ความท้าทายในการพัฒนาประเทศไทย บนพื้นฐานของวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม” ณ ห้อง Grand Ballroom A – B
ภายหลังพิธีเปิดงานเป็นการเสวนาพิเศษหัวข้อ“เส้นทางชีวิตกับ 40 ปี โครงการ พสวท.ต่อการพัฒนาประเทศไทย” จากนั้นร่วมฟังแนวทางการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม การศึกษา ความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษา อุตสาหกรรม ภาครัฐ และการมีส่วนร่วมของภาคประชาสังคมเพื่อเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศไทย กับเสวนาพิเศษหัวข้อ“การพัฒนาระบบนิเวศวิทยาศาสตร์เทคโนโลยีเพื่อการส่งเสริมความสามารถในการแข่งขันของไทย” การเสวนาหัวข้อ “พสวท. ไปต่อหรือพอแค่นี้” การนำเสนอผลงานของนิสิต นักศึกษา ทุน พสวท. แบบโปสเตอร์ การบรรยายเรื่อง “อดีต ปัจจุบัน และอนาคตทุนพสวท.ต่อการพัฒนาประเทศไทย” โดย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธีระเดช เจียรสุขสกุล ผู้อำนวยการ สสวท. และตบท้ายด้วยเสวนาพิเศษ “เรื่องเล่าจาก 4 รุ่น 4 ทศวรรษ พสวท.”
ตลอดระยะ 3 วันของการจัดงาน ประกอบด้วยกิจกรรมแม่เหล็กที่ตอบโจทย์สังคมทันกระแสโลก จากมุมมองของนักวิทยาศาสตร์ นักวิจัยที่มีผลงานเป็นที่ประจักษ์ ผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจและอุตสาหกรรม แพทย์ ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิทั้งภาครัฐ และเอกชน โดยถ่ายทอดสดที่ https://www.facebook.com/ipst.thai
วันที่ 3 สิงหาคม 2567 เปิดมุมมองวิเคราะห์ปัญหาพลังงานโลกและทางเลือกใหม่ทางวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี เพื่อการลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและพลังงานทางเลือกที่ยั่งยืนกับการเสวนาหัวข้อ“วิกฤตพลังงานและโลกเดือดกับทางรอดด้วยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี” การเสวนาหัวข้อ “บทเรียนการวิจัยและพัฒนาทางการแพทย์กับโอกาสการยกระดับ ด้วยนักวิจัยไทย” การบรรยายหัวข้อ “ความท้าทายและความหวังของนักวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี” กิจกรรม Job Fair การนำเสนอผลงานของนิสิต นักศึกษา ทุนพสวท.
วันที่ 4 สิงหาคม 2567 พบการเสวนาเส้นทางสู่ความเป็นเลิศทางวิทยาศาสตร์ หัวข้อ “เจาะใจ DPST Hall of Fame” และมอบรางวัลการนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยแบบบรรยาย/โปสเตอร์ของนิสิต นักศึกษา ทุนพสวท.ด้วย

40 years of DPST: Quality workforce leading Thailand through innovation“Creating DPST Workforce for Sustainable Development of Science and Technology in Thailand.”
On 2 August 2024 at 08.30 hrs. at the Grand Ballroom A – B, Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok, Mr. Surasak Phancharoenworakul, Deputy Minister of Education, presided over the 40th anniversary of the Development and Promotion of Science and Technology Talents (DPST) scholarship under the concept of “Creating DPST Workforce for Sustainable Development of Science and Technology in Thailand” and presented awards for DPST Hall of Fame and benefactors of IPST and DPST scholarship as well as viewing the research exhibition of DPST scholarship scientists. The event is held during 2 – 4 August 2024 at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok.
At 10.00 hrs., Professor Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation gave a special lecture on “Challenges for Thailand’s development on the basis of science, technology and innovation” at the Grand Ballroom A – B.
The opening ceremony was followed by a special seminar on “Life Path with 40 Years of DPST Project for Thailand’s Development”. Then, the participants could learn possible development guidelines for science, technology and innovation infrastructure, education, cooperation between educational institutions, industry, government sector, and civil society participation to increase Thailand’s competitiveness through a special seminar on “Development of Science and Technology Ecosystem to Promote Thailand’s Competitiveness”, a seminar on “DPST: Continue or Stop?”, poster presentations of DPST students, a lecture on “Past, Present, and Future of DPST Scholarship for Thailand’s Development” by Associate Professor Dr. Thiradet Jiarasuksakun, President of IPST, and a special seminar on “Stories from 4 Generations, 4 Decades of DPST”.
Throughout the 3-day event, all captivating sessions that respond to the needs of society and keep up with global trends from the perspectives of scientists, researchers, business and industrial entrepreneurs, physicians, and experts from both the public and private sectors are broadcasted live at https://www.facebook.com/ipst.thai
On 3 August 2024, the participants will have the opportunity to explore the analysis on global energy crisis and new scientific and technological alternatives to reduce environmental impacts and find sustainable alternative energy with a seminar on “Energy Crisis and Global Warming and the Survival using Science and Technology”. Other sessions include a seminar on “Lessons from Medical Research and Development and the Opportunities for Advancement by Thai Researchers”, a lecture on “Challenges and Hopes of Scientists and Technologists”, a Job Fair activity, and the presentations by DPST students.
On 4 August 2024, members of DPST Hall of Fame will discuss the path to scientific excellence on a seminar “Sharing Experiences: DPST Hall of Fame”, and the event would end with the presentation of awards for the oral/poster presentations of DPST students.
